Pregnancy and Infant Loss

Today is National Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Day. This year, for the first time, this day holds personal significance for me. Yesterday was supposed to be the due date for my second child.

This photo was taken a couple of days after we learned about my miscarriage. I was smiling through the pain.
